Amid reports of a possible meeting between U.S. and Iranian leaders, former Israeli National Security Adviser Jacob Nagel says suggesting that conditions are ripe for such a meeting is “very dangerous.”
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei calls for “jihad, struggle and tireless effort,” and says “promotional, cultural and intellectual work” is needed to counter the U.S. peace “conspiracy.”
As tensions in the Persian Gulf continue to rise, commanders of the Lebanese terrorist group say it is “ready to initiate hostilities, if and when Tehran deems that necessary.”
The Israel prime minister’s remarks come after the Hezbollah leader warned that a war between the United States and Iran would put the Jewish state “on the brink of extinction.”
Feeling the pinch of U.S. sanctions against its sponsor Iran, Hezbollah once again turns to its supporters for financial aid.

The United States had already identified the risk of a Lebanese government with a pro-Iran majority.
