The Israel Defense Forces on Friday night intercepted a rocket fired by Palestinian terrorist in the Gaza Strip.

The attack triggered air-raid sirens in the southern Negev, with no reports of injuries or damage.

Earlier, the IDF announced that troops operating in Gaza had destroyed a tunnel Palestinian terrorists used to carry out a deadly attack during the 2014 war.

The tunnel, located in the Beit Hanoun area in northeastern Gaza, was approximately one kilometer long.

During “Operation Protective Edge” in 2014, terrorists emerged from the tunnel and killed four Israeli soldiers: Lt. Col. Dolev Keidar, Second Lt. Yuval Heiman, Sgt. Maj. Ksahoon (Dani) Bainsin and Sgt. First Class Nadav Goldmacher.

“This operation reflects the IDF’s commitment to dismantling previously utilized terrorist infrastructure and preventing its reuse,” the military said in a statement.

On Friday, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir conducted a field tour and situational assessment in the Gaza Strip, accompanied by OC Southern Command Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor and OC Ground Forces Command Maj. Gen. Nadav Lotan.

Zamir emphasized that the successes of the 12-day war with Iran were made possible by the efforts of IDF soldiers in the Palestinian enclave.

“Throughout the operation, my eyes were also on your actions in the Gaza Strip. The infantry, armor, engineering and other ground forces operating courageously in complex combat in Gaza played a significant role in the IDF’s ability to act decisively in Iran,” Zamir said.

“The operation in Gaza is the main arena. In the near future, we will reach the lines we defined for the current phase of ‘Operation Gideon’s Chariots,’” he continued. “From there, operational options will be developed and presented to the political leadership. We will continue to act with determination to achieve the two main objectives of the war: the return of the hostages and the defeat of Hamas.”

“The Democratic Party has changed,” David Wecht said. “Hateful anti-Jewish invective and actions are minimized, ignored and even coddled.”
The opinion piece, written by columnist Nicholas Kristof, parroted “cartoonishly evil Hamas propaganda that would make Goebbels blush,” Eitan Fischberger, a Middle East analyst, stated.
The state initially said that it is giving its 2025 Montana Exporter of the Year Award to a company that exports "$5.4 million worth of products to Canada, Egypt, European Union, Japan, Kuwait, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates.”

The department “will continue to deprive the regime of funding for its weapons programs, terrorist proxies and nuclear ambitions,” the U.S. treasury secretary said.
“This is yet another hateful incident meant to intimidate Jewish New Yorkers and divide our city,” New York City officials stated after swastikas were discovered in Highland Park and Forest Park.
