“This is an absolutely unacceptable political murder, and it will lead to further escalation of tensions,” said Russia’s deputy foreign minister.
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh’s death “makes the world a little better,” said Israeli Heritage Minister Amihai Eliyahu.
The P.A. chief “called on the Palestinian people to unite, be patient and steadfast in the face of the Israeli occupation.”
