Israeli soccer star Dor Turgeman shined in his Major League Soccer debut on Saturday night, scoring a goal and setting up another off the bench to secure a 2-0 home victory for the New England Revolution.

The 21-year-old striker, who was acquired from Maccabi Tel Aviv on Aug. 20, came off the bench in the 58th minute, hitting the back of the net at the 72-minute mark before assisting on Ecuadorian forward Leo Campana’s goal three minutes later to defeat Atlanta United FC.

Both clubs have already been eliminated from postseason play.

The Ashdod native has been signed through the 2028 MLS season, with a club option for 2029. The two-time Israeli champion and Israeli Super Cup winner with Maccabi Tel Aviv also plays for the Israeli national team, which is competing in UEFA qualifications for the 2026 FIFA World Cup that the United States is co-hosting along with Canada and Mexico on June 11–July 19.
