The strikes constitute “a direct threat to international peace and security,” said U.N. Secretary General António Guterres.
“How dare you come here to ask for help while your regime calls for the destruction of our people,” the Israeli envoy told his Iranian counterpart in an emergency U.N. Security Council session.
“When the war [with Israel] is over, we will settle accounts with Grossi,” Ali Larijani, former Iranian chief nuclear negotiator, warned on X.
