Through its Israel Support Package initiative, Jewish National Fund-USA is enabling people to send heartfelt Purim gifts to Israel Defense Forces soldiers, evacuees, and families returning home, while strengthening Israel’s economy by supporting small businesses in the Galilee and Negev, the north and south of the country, respectively.

Purim, celebrated this year on March 14, is a time when Jewish people traditionally exchange mishloach manot, gift baskets filled with food, and donate tzedakah. or charity, to those in need. This year, Jewish National Fund-USA is making it easier than ever to send a gift of love and resilience to Israel’s heroes and families impacted by war.

Each Israel Support Package is curated with treats and high-quality products sourced from Israeli small businesses, many of which have been struggling due to a decline in tourism and local shoppers. Throughout the month of March, these packages will be specially themed for Purim, bringing a small ray of light into the lives of the people of Israel who have been through so much.

The Israel Support Packages are just one element of the organization’s “Circle of Impact,” whereby every program, project, and initiative is chosen because of the ripple effect it creates leading to job creation, economic growth, and new residents moving to Israel’s north and south.

“This initiative is more than just sending a gift—it’s a statement of unity and unwavering support,” said Jewish National Fund-USA’s Products Chair, Rob Ganz. “Every package delivers not only joy and appreciation to our brave soldiers and families but also provides a vital boost to small businesses in Israel’s north and south.”

Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from each package supports Jewish National Fund-USA’s Israel Resilience Campaign, which provides critical aid to affected communities and ensures Israel remains strong during these challenging times.
