Masa Israel Journey Launches Online Marketplace for Top Internships in Israel

Masa’s new website offers career development tools, educational content and community engagement opportunities.

Masa Israel Journey, founded by The Jewish Agency and the government of Israel, announced today the launch of an internship marketplace as part of its newly designed website. Demand for Masa Career programs has increased 30% during the Coronavirus crisis in comparison to the previous year. Newly optimized tools empower young job seekers to apply for internships in Israel with some of the world’s top employers.

Masa’s internship marketplace offers opportunities at more than 200 companies, including some of the fastest growing and most desired employers such as Fiverr, Monday.com, WeWork, UpStart, KPMG, Wazimo, i24 News and Eco Wave Power. Website visitors can easily search and apply for long-term internship programs in Israel filtered by their language, career interest, location of choice and preferred program length. Employers who seek Masa interns can post their unique career opportunities on the website to receive applications directly.

The new website is available in six languages: Spanish, English, Russian, Portuguese, French and Hebrew. Enhanced search tools enable Masa applicants from around the world to find long-term experiences in Israel that meet their unique needs and interests. Masa applicants, Fellows, and alumni can now discover community events and educational resources for greater growth and engagement. Organizations and institutions can also access resources for professional training and consulting as well as program building opportunities and original educational content.

“Masa’s new website is designed to empower our international community with educational tools and career development resources. We are providing opportunities through our platform for applicants, Fellows, alumni and partners to expand their possibilities and connections,” said Ofer Gutman, Masa’s Acting CEO. “As we continue to offer Fellows life-changing experiences in Israel, we also acknowledge the need to increase engagement with our communities around the world through a new digital landscape.”

Masa launched the Golden Internship competition, encouraging website visitors to explore the new career development resources. Using search tools, website visitors will browse different internships categories to find the “Golden Internship”. Once found, visitors can fill out a form to enter a raffle with a grand prize of a $500 Amazon gift card. The competition will run through Thursday, December 3, 2020 when the winner will be announced at 10:00 AM Israel Standard Time.
