A presidential adviser denied reports that Washington had forewarning of the attack and said the administration continues to oppose a standalone aid package for Israel.
The senior officials declined to say if or how Israel should respond to the aggression but said Washington would not participate in any strike against the Islamic Republic.
“You guys want to criminalize us with metal detectors. We’ll see you at your house. We’ll murder you,” Riddhi Patel, 28, told the City Council in Bakersfield, Calif.

“I believe we should be leading every discussion with two major factors: Americans were killed and Americans remain hostage,” the N.J. congressman told JNS.
“The time has come to hold this heinous terror group accountable for decades of cowardly attacks,” said Rep. Brad Sherman, who sponsored the legislation.
