“Omer was barbarically murdered by Hamas in the Oct. 7 attacks,” stated New York Gov. Kathy Hochul. “We pray that his body can be returned to his family, who have been speaking out for him and all hostages since that horrific day.”
The Iranian-backed terrorist organization took responsibility for the attack.
Lebanon must ensure “Beirut and Southern Lebanon are free of weapons—not in homes, not in yards and not in children’s rooms,” the IDF spokesperson said.
