The Israeli premier welcomed the six freed hostages, describing their return as a “moment of joy and relief.”

The freed hostages are Eliya Cohen, Avera Mengistu, Hisham al-Sayed, Omer Shem Tov, Tal Shoham and Omer Wenkert.
Hamas on Friday night handed over Shiri’s body to the Red Cross, which in turn delivered the corpse to Israel for identification.
“The only solution is the destruction of Hamas, and this must not be postponed,” wrote the Israeli finance minister.
“Their bodies return home to a nation in mourning. A nation that will never forget and never forgive the evil that cut down these beautiful souls,” said the Israeli premier.
