The slain 18-year-old Israeli man suffered severe shrapnel wounds.
The attacks came shortly after Hezbollah published a speech by its secretary-general, Naim Qassem.
“The days ahead will be like those that have passed,” Naim Qassem says.
The attack came shortly after Donald Trump’s election victory speech in Florida. The town was named after then-President Trump in 2019 following the U.S. recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
Flights were temporarily halted due to the attack, the largest Hezbollah rocket barrage on central Israel since the beginning of the war.
“Hezbollah, with help from the Syrian regime, endangers the safety of civilians by establishing its infrastructure in civilian areas,” the IDF said.
These terrorists were brought to Lebanon by the Iranian terror proxy after Oct. 7, 2023, because it was believed they would be less conspicuous in Israel.
