The sanctioned Israelis are Moshe Sharvit, Zvi Bar Yosef, Isaschar Manne, Bentzi Gopstein and Baruch Marzel.
“We acknowledge that there was a data error in our recent listing,” a State Department spokesperson told JNS.
The suspect aroused suspicion when she refused to open her bag during a routine inspection.
They said “the government of Israel’s settlement program is inconsistent with international law and counterproductive to the cause of peace.”
The Biden administration urged the Israeli government to take “immediate” steps to hold the accused to account.
