“The antisemitic rot that has corroded college campuses must be eradicated,” stated Rep. Virginia Foxx. “Enough is enough.”
“As we gather here tonight, extensive efforts are being made to bring about a new hostage deal,” said Michael Herzog, the Israeli envoy in Washington.
“This serves as damning proof of the spinelessness, moral rot and double standards these so-called university leaders exhibited,” per the report from the House Education Committee.
“This report pinpoints the caustic, antisemitic ideology that has consumed many unions,” stated Rep. Virginia Foxx, the House committee’s chair.
Universities should not “hire faculty with a track record of turning a blind eye to discrimination and harassment,” Rep. Jason Smith stated.
“Columbia should be a partner in our efforts to ensure Jewish students have a safe learning environment on its campus,” stated Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.).
“If this is not promptly rectified, the committee is prepared to compel their production,” Rep. Virginia Foxx wrote to the Ivy League school.
“Students deserve better, and Columbia is far from off the hook,” Rep. Virginia Foxx told JNS.
“Jewish students deserve better than to have harassment and threats against them dismissed as ‘privilege,’” Rep. Virginia Foxx said.
Senior administrators at the school exchanged disparaging messages during a panel discussion about Jew-hatred on campus.
“Northwestern’s capitulation to its antisemitic encampment and its impeding of the committee’s oversight are unbecoming of a leading university,” wrote Rep. Virginia Foxx.
The heads of the House education and oversight committees asked U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen for reports on “suspicious activity” related to the groups.
