The international grassroots civil-rights movement #EndJewHatred hosted a solidarity march in Los Angeles on Jan. 7, to mark the three-month anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel. The event condemned the lack of consequences for people and celebrities like supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid, who perpetuate blood libels against Jews and foment antisemitism that is plaguing Western society.

“On Sunday, Jews took to the streets of Los Angeles to demand justice and remind the world of the horrors of October 7th,” said Brooke Goldstein, co-founder of the #EndJewHatred Movement. “Despite an incredible turnout, Gigi and Bella Hadid’s agency have yet to respond or hold their clients accountable.”

More than 300 people took part in Sunday’s march and listened to powerful speeches from major celebrities and influencers who came out to support the #EndJewHatred movement and demand justice for the victims of Hamas and Jews of all ages facing a tremendous increase in antisemitism in the United States. Their voices were a powerful counterpoint to the Jew-hatred spread on social media by people like the Hadids, who have faced no consequences for their bigotry and racism.

Speakers included Montana Tucker, Stella Escobedo, Emily Austin, Alexandra Smith, Celine Rouben, Brock Pierce, Christina Pascucci and family members of three hostages being kept captive in the Gaza Strip.

“I came to the #EndJewHatred march to give a voice to those who cannot speak: the remaining 130-plus hostages in Gaza,” said Roye Ben-Menahem, one of the family members of the hostage victims. “Specifically, I wanted to raise awareness for my cousin, Rom Braslavski, who was a security guard at the Nova music festival when it was attacked by Hamas terrorists on October 7. Rom had multiple opportunities to escape but stayed to help others do so instead. His actions saved the lives of many, and for that, he’s a hero.

“I hope by spreading his story,” said Ben-Menahem, “we can raise public awareness that these hostages are real people with families who are worried sick about them and to increase international pressure on Hamas and Qatar to ensure the safe release of Rom and the rest of the 130-plus hostages. We need to bring them home now!”
