After attacks on and in Jerusalem, Israel Victory Project declares: “It is time to defeat Hamas”

The Israel Victory Project (IVP), an initiative created by the Middle East Forum to call for Israel to be victorious against its enemies, has called on the Israeli Government to once and for all defeat Hamas and other organizations involved in the attacks on and in Jerusalem today on Jerusalem Day.

“It is time for victory, there is no other choice,” Gregg Roman, Director of the Middle East Forum, said. “Without a clear and decisive victory that will force Hamas and other terrorist organizations into submission, they will continue to decide what Israel and its citizens can do, and when they will need to run to bomb shelters.”

“The State of Israel should break the will of Hamas to continue fighting. It is possible and we have seen many terrorist organizations defeated in recent years, so there is no excuse for anything except total victory.”

The call by the IVP comes on Jerusalem Day when Arab riots ensured that no Jewish worshippers were allowed on the Temple Mount and rerouted the annual parade. In the afternoon, Hamas launched seven rockets at Jerusalem and its vicinity, causing hundreds and thousands to run to safe rooms and bombs shelters.

“A reality in which Jews are unsafe in our capital city, Jerusalem, is unacceptable,” said Nave Dromi, director of the Middle East Forum’s Israel Office. “Our enemies need to know that we too have boundaries.”

The Israel Victory Project is an initiative that has brought together high-level politicians, military experts, experts and other decision-makers and opinion-shapers towards the view that the Israel-Palestinian conflict will only end when the 100 year violent Palestinian rejectionism is defeated.

The Middle East Forum promotes American interests in the Middle East and protects Western values from Middle Eastern threats. The Forum sees the region — with its profusion of dictatorships, radical ideologies, existential conflicts, border disagreements, corruption, political violence, and weapons of mass destruction — as a major source of problems for the United States. Accordingly, we urge bold measures to protect Americans and their allies. In the Middle East, we focus on ways to defeat radical Islam; work for Palestinian acceptance of Israel; develop strategies to contain Iran; and deal with the great advances of anarchy. At home, the Forum emphasizes the danger of lawful Islamism; protects the freedoms of anti-Islamist authors, activists, and publishers; and works to improve Middle East studies.
“The Jewish community and our allies have been asking for a proactive, visionary effort to not only scale the fight against antisemitism but to also address it in all its contemporary forms,” stated Ted Deutch, CEO of the American Jewish Committee.
Marlene J. Goldenberg, counsel for the plaintiffs, told JNS that the ruling to dismiss the lawsuit against the cryptocurrency company left “important questions unanswered.”
“The Michelin star proves that talent and dedication will be recognized for what they truly are,” Michael Werzberger, an investor in Mutra, told JNS.
“That was a fight worth having,” Matt Brooks, CEO of the Republican Jewish Coalition, said of a $5 million-plus effort to oust the anti-Israel Kentucky congressman.
The individuals are accused of displaying and distributing signs depicting Jews as rats and other antisemitic imagery during a March 15 anti-Israel demonstration in Toronto.
“Just as we cannot tolerate racist statements against any group or rhetoric that incites violence, we cannot accept discriminatory speech directed at Jewish Americans,” Rep. Dan Goldman wrote. “For these reasons, I voted to censure Rep. Tlaib.”
