Coming soon! Middle East Scholar to Give Live Course on Israel, the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, and International Law

Occupation. Apartheid. Illegal settlements.

All across the media, the State of Israel is routinely accused of violating international law.

However, few of those who level this accusation understand the terms they are using and use subjective standards to paint Israel’s law-abiding defense strategies as crimes against humanity.

The Tikvah Fund invites you to join Dr. Eugene Kontorovich, Professor of International Law and Middle East Scholar, for a live, online course through Tikvah Open University, where you’ll look at the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the lens of international law, analyze uncontested—but erroneous—assertions about Israel’s conduct, and discuss the legal implications of Israel’s right to defend itself.

This three-part course begins soon and will take place on Thursdays, July 8, 15, and 22 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM EDT. Each session will be recorded and sent to registrants after each meeting. Registration is $100 and class space is limited to facilitate a lively question-and-answer period during each session.

Spots are filling up fast! Please register here today to reserve your space!

If you have any questions regarding the program, contact Lanita Warner at lwarner@tikvahfund.org.
