Trump administration plans to name Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization
The Brotherhood is a Sunni Islamist group that was founded in Egypt in 1928 and has ties to other radical groups, including Hamas.

CBS rejects request to pull pro-Israel interview with Egyptian leader
In a “60 Minutes” interview, Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi says cooperation between Cairo and Jerusalem is closer than ever.
“If Egypt ceases its involvement in the talks, a military confrontation will very likely erupt in Gaza. Hamas will direct the pressure at Israel,” said a senior Egyptian defense official. He added that Israel and Egypt have been coordinating their recent diplomatic steps.
The two leaders appeared collegial as they discussed issues pertaining to the Middle East and cooperation between the two countries.
U.S. envoy Greenblatt says, “Palestinian Authority can’t criticize from the sidelines” days after Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas says Israel and Hamas will sign a deal “over my dead body.”
According to reports, they discussed an easing of the Israeli and Egyptian blockade on Gaza, as well as the return of the Palestinian Authority to Gaza, now controlled by the terrorist group Hamas.
