Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a cartoon this week showing the “final solution” of the State of Israel, or annihilation similar to what the Nazis attempted to do to the European Jewish population during World War II and the Holocaust.

The caption, with the words “Palestine will be free, The final solution: Resistance until referendum,” includes the late grant mufti of Jerusalem, Amin al-Husseini; Imad Mughniyeh, who founded Lebanon’s Islamic Jihad Organization and was the deputy in Hezbollah’s leadership; the late former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force leader Qassem Soleimani; Hassan Nasrallah, leader of the U.S.-designated terrorist group Hezbollah; the late Hamas co-founder Sheikh Yassin; and a few members of the radical Neutra Karta movement.

Additionally, Khamenei said that “Al-Quds [Jerusalem] will be another Khorramshahr.”

Khorramshahr is in Ahvaz, a former independent Arab emirate whose population is oppressed by the Iranian regime, which likely means that Khameini is calling for Israel to be colonized by Iran.

He posted on his English Twitter account on Wednesday: “We will support and assist any nation or any group anywhere who opposes and fights the Zionist regime, and we do not hesitate to say this. #FlyTheFlag,”

“Israel has the right to defend itself against threats, but the attack it was responding to was very small and meaningless, nobody was hurt, injured, or killed, and should not disrupt this important process,” the president posted to Truth Social.

“I wish you continued strength and vigor,” wrote the Israeli leader.
