Arabs near the Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem threw rocks at an Egged passenger bus on Tuesday.

Video from the incident shows stones being thrown at the public bus, resulting in at least one shattered window.

Passengers had to crouch down on the floor of the vehicle for protection. There were no reported injuries from the attack.

Israel Police tweeted that rioters also threw stones at law enforcement and that its forces eventually dispersed the attackers and arrested 22 suspects.

Dozens of police officers stayed positioned in the area well into Tuesday evening.
