Muhammad Ali Yassin worked to rehabilitate the Iranian-backed terror group’s capabilities in violation of the ceasefire, according to the IDF.
The target was a production and storage site in the Beqaa Valley for “strategic weapons” according to the IDF.
The army will have all weapons near the Israeli border in state control within three months, according to Youssef Raggi.
The facilities were used to train operatives and prepare attacks against IDF troops and Israel, including gunfire drills and other weapons exercises.
“Hezbollah remains a highly active global player in the cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and captagon trades, with trafficking networks spanning Latin America, Canada and the United States,” the report states.
One of the terrorists was identified as Abd al-Manaam Musa Suwaydan, a Hezbollah operative in Southern Lebanon’s Yatar Municipality.
“Northern Command continues to strike and dismantle emerging threats. This is the approach, we do not wait,” said IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir.
The strike came two days after the IDF killed a terrorist who was involved in planning and carrying out attacks against Israel during the war.
“A secure, stable Lebanon is in the interest not just of the U.S. and the Lebanese people, but of the entire region,” Sen. Jeanne Shaheen stated.
The Lebanese government intends to submit a non-military proposal aiming to persuade the Iranian terror proxy to lay down arms, according to U.S. envoy Thomas Barrack.
“The IDF will continue to operate to remove threats posed to the citizens of Israel.”
