On the America’s Roundtable podcast, the co-chair of the congressional Israel Allies Caucus described the motives and allies of the Hamas terrorists he said committed war crimes against Israel on Oct. 7.

Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.) spoke with co-hosts Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, discussing challenges pertaining to the Israel Defense Forces’s imminent effort to enter the Gaza Strip and eradicate the terror group that runs it.

“I do not blame for one moment the government of Israel and the IDF wanting to eliminate Hamas as a force in the future,” he stated. “Now how they do that is extremely challenging and complex and difficult.”

He said “like reasonable people across the world, I was stunned at these atrocities. I was stunned at the scope of the invasion and the preparation that had obviously gone into it.”

The congressman also speculated on whether “Iran has any connection to it, either directly or indirectly, because they have supported Hamas with providing weapons and money in the past.”

Lamborn also serves as chairman for the Strategic Forces Subcommittee and as a member of the House Armed Services Committee.

“Each incident documented in the audit meant pain, suffering and anguish for a human being, a fellow Canadian,” the Jewish nonprofit said.
“This action cuts revenue streams that fund the regime’s destabilizing activities across the Middle East,” stated Tommy Pigott, State Department spokesman.
U.S. economic pressure on Tehran targets “both traditional sanctions evasion tools like front companies as well as the exploitation of innovative technologies like digital assets,” a U.S. official said.
Elizabeth Barcohana, chair of Jewish engagement at the California Republican Party, told JNS that the statement is “abhorrent and not in touch with the concerns of California families.”
“As these incidents become more normalized, they erode public safety and our way of life as Canadians,” stated the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto.
