Rep. Betty McCollum (D-Minn.), who mentioned Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in a September 2024 statement ostensibly about murdered hostages in Gaza, again decried the Israeli premier in a new statement about what she said was an “illegal” Israeli strike in Doha.

The Jewish state said that it targeted Hamas leaders in the Qatari capital.

The Minnesota Democrat, who is the ranking member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense, stated that Qatar is “a neutral nation that has mediated peace talks for nearly two years between Israel and Hamas.”

“This unprovoked attack on the nation of Qatar is a flagrant violation of international law that harms prospects for peace between Israel and Hamas and jeopardizes the return of Israeli hostages in Hamas captivity,” she stated. “Israel’s actions today are yet further evidence that the government of Prime Minister Netanyahu has become a destabilizing force in the Middle East.”

Granting the proposal Basic Law status would give it quasi-constitutional weight in Israel’s legal system.
“My dream is to travel to Beirut, and this dream is still alive, but only if Lebanon’s future is determined in Beirut, and not in Tehran,” he said.
The Turkish leader is “the last person who can preach morality to the State of Israel” said the Israeli premier, after Erdogan claimed Israel’s actions in Syria and Lebanon endanger Turkey.
“India and Israel share a unique friendship that continues to grow stronger with each passing year,” said Israel’s Foreign Ministry.
“They’ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them,” said the president.
“With God’s help, he will win,” tweeted the ruling party.
