The Jewish state hopes to see 2,000 doctors immigrate over the next five years.

The Lone Soldiers Program Resilience Center is an initiative of Nefesh B’Nefesh and Friends of the IDF, in partnership with Sheba Medical Center.
“Each of these remarkable youth has risen to serve as a guiding light in their communities throughout Israel,” said Rabbi Yehoshua Fass of Nefesh B’Nefesh.
Foreign Ministry Special Envoy Fleur Hassan-Nahoum, who hosts “The Quad” on JNS-TV, received the 2024 award for Israel advocacy.
The facility’s mission is to help olim, including 3,500 lone soldiers from more than 70 countries.
“When soldiers arrived via helicopter from Gaza, I prayed,” said Dr. Eugene Rapaport, a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist.
More than 10,000 requests have come in to open aliyah files since the war with Hamas began after Oct. 7.
The measure is “important news for immigrants,” says Israeli Aliyah and Integration Minister Ofir Sofer.
Belong seeks to supplement the efforts of the Jewish Agency and Nefesh B’Nefesh.
