Jewish Agency for Israel taps Mark Wilf as next board chair

He has long been involved in efforts locally, nationally and globally for the welfare of the Jewish community and the State of Israel.

The Jewish Agency for Israel announced that its leadership nominating committee has unanimously approved the nomination of Mark Wilf for chairperson of the organization’s board of governors.

Wilf is slated to serve a three-year term from July 12, 2022, through June 30, 2025. He will succeed the current board of governors chair, Michael D. Siegal.

The outgoing chair of the Jewish Federations of North America’s board of trustees, Wilf serves on a variety of educational and philanthropic boards, including those of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), American Society for Yad Vashem, Anti-Defamation League, New York University School of Law, Princeton University President’s Advisory Council and Yeshiva University.

Wilf has long been involved in efforts locally, nationally and globally to ensure the welfare and vitality of the Jewish community and the State of Israel. He is also owner of the Minnesota Vikings football team.

The nomination of Wilf as chairperson will be submitted for election at the opening plenary session of the Jewish Agency’s board of governors meeting in July.
