Matthew Miller, the Foggy Bottom spokesman, criticized the Israeli government for “much more intense conversations than should have been necessary” about extending the Israeli-Palestinian banking agreement.
The 22-year-old Israeli-American, whose death on Oct. 7 was recently confirmed by Israel, “was a good neshama,” or “soul,” said Michelle Rich, who leads teen travel programs of the Conservative Judaism youth movement.
“This horrific news shakes all New Yorkers to our core,” Kathy Hochul said in response to the death of Omer Neutra.
“Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied history of the U.S.,” the president-elect wrote. “Release the hostages now.”
“He reads broadly, and he’s fascinated by history and the lessons of history, and where that can take us going forward,” the White House adviser said.
