In seven states, the Orthodox Union’s Teach Coalition program launched voter outreach centers, each with three to five employees explaining how citizens can register to vote.

Maury Litwack, founder and CEO of Teach Coalition, described historic efforts to encourage Jewish voting participation as “fruitful.”

He said his group “wants to facilitate people’s ability to vote and combat any potential misconceptions they have about the process by educating them in person.”

The centers specifically aimed to counter the inaccuracy that voter registration is too time-consuming, with Litwack saying that the process takes around 12 minutes.

“If we want our elected officials to defend Israel, combat antisemitism, and recognize our concerns around security and the costs of private education, we must make our voices heard as a community by voting for people who will champion and fight for the issues we care about,” Litwack said. “The centers have been very impactful, and we’re proud of the initiative.”
