The Beit Udi organization proudly presents a unique auction in collaboration with the Curio Auctions platform, offering the public a rare opportunity to acquire artifacts connected to the legacy and vision of Israel’s first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion, and the development of the Negev. The auction began last week and will end on Dec. 25. All proceeds will be dedicated to reducing social and educational gaps between residents of Israel’s periphery and central regions through the organization’s programs and the establishment of Beit Udi, which will help bring Ben-Gurion’s vision of revitalizing the Negev to life.

The auction includes extraordinary items tied to Ben-Gurion’s heritage and his vision for the region, including: a book signed by Ben-Gurion; a rare book with a personal inscription by Israel’s founding father; a historical document from 1948 that helped shape the State of Israel; an original photo of Ben-Gurion in the Negev, reflecting his personal vision for the desert; and a sculpture symbolizing the prime minister’s developmental aspirations. Also being auction is an original keepsake from Kibbutz Sde Boker that tells the story of Ben-Gurion’s life on the kibbutz.

Proceeds from the auction will be directed toward the construction of Beit Udi, which was named in memory of fallen Israel Defense Forces Lt. Udi Elgrably. The center will serve as the home for the Nitzanim program, which provides technological training for thousands of youth from the Negev and Galilee, enabling them to join technological roles in the IDF and Israel’s high-tech industry. The initiative aims to promote technological and social advancement, reduce gaps and drive growth throughout Israel’s periphery.

The auction is open to the public, and is hosted on the Curio Auctions website, where details and photos of all the featured items can be viewed.
