ILTV’s new hires to take channel to the ‘next level’

The English-language Israel news channel provides a daily news program that provide headlines ‘accurately’ and ‘clearly.’

Maayan Hoffman has been hired as editor-in-chief.

Hoffman is a veteran American-Israeli journalist and strategic communications consultant. She has led content, marketing and strategy teams at top-tier corporations and NGOs, and has held senior journalism positions throughout the Jewish world, including serving as news editor of The Jerusalem Post, editor-in-chief of the Baltimore Jewish Times and managing editor of the Kansas City Jewish Chronicle. Most recently, she filled the role of deputy CEO of strategy and innovation at the Post, where she launched the outlet’s Health & Wellness, Business & Innovation, and Christian World portals. Her work has appeared in the Washington Post, Health Policy Watch, All Israel News, American Spectator, Fox, The Hill and Roll Call, among other places.

Emily Schrader has been hired as an ILTV correspondent and anchor.

Schrader is an American-Israeli journalist and human-rights activist from Israel focusing on Israeli and Iranian affairs. Schrader sits on the advisory board of the Institute for Voices of Liberty, a think tank focused on European and American Iran policy, and has advised lawmakers across North America and Europe on Iran policy, specially related to Tehran’s terror proxies in the Middle East.

In addition to her work as a journalist, she is an award-winning content creator with a following of over 400,000, including 75,000 inside of Iran. Previously, Schrader founded the digital department of StandWithUs and has more than a decade of experience in Israel advocacy. Today she lectures internationally on antisemitism and Iran-Israel relations.

Chayim Frenkel told JNS that “it’s a whole brand new sound system, brand new room, but it’s still my KI.”
“In many ways, speaking openly about faith can actually feel more natural outside of Washington,” Arielle Roth, administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, told JNS.

“The worst thing about J Street is it’s duplicitous,” Yechiel Leiter, the Israeli envoy in Washington, said at a National Task Force to Combat Antisemitism event at Museum of the Bible on Monday.
Authorities say about 100 fliers containing antisemitic imagery and language were thrown from a vehicle onto residential streets early Saturday, prompting increased patrols in the area.
“Hatred directed against one faith community is a threat to every faith community,” the World Jewish Congress stated after authorities responded to reported gunfire and casualties at the Clairemont center.
