The Defense for Children International-Palestine has been linked to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, designated a terror group by the United States and European Union.
The legislation prohibits the state and its political subdivisions from entering into contracts worth more than $100,000 with companies with 10 or more employees that engage in BDS.

“Mozhgan Savabieasfahani’s hate-filled candidacy for Ann Arbor City Council is an affront to the universal values so integral to this city, as one of Michigan’s great intellectual centers,” said Joan Lowenstein of the Michigan Democratic Jewish Caucus.
At least for now, the defeated legislation can be deemed a win emanating from a nation that has harbored biases against the Jewish state, much of it coming from powerful BDS groups.

The legislation pertains to Ibiza, Majorca, Palma and other areas.
Efforts to link police brutality in America with the Israel Defense Forces maintaining security against Palestinian attacks have flooded the Internet, used as propaganda by the BDS movement.
