The seven-year initiative declares hard-hit areas national priority zones and expands the Tekuma Directorate to lead reconstruction.
“This budget is the story of a beautiful Israel,” said Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
The budget will be 620 billion shekels, with about 110 billion shekels going to the defense budget, the highest ever.
The move will allow for their further expansion and development.
“We are working with all means to implement the U.S. president’s vision, and we will allow any Gaza resident who wants to move to a third state to do so,” said Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.
“We are more determined than ever to complete the mission and destroy” the Gaza-based terror group, Israel’s finance minister wrote.
“In the end, Gaza’s governmental capabilities need to be destroyed,” said the Israeli finance minister.
The Prime Minister’s Office has repeatedly claimed that the P.A. is not involved in the operation of the crossing with Egypt.
“The American president will decide how” to prevent this, the Israeli minister said.
The government is working to establish a “migration administration” to oversee the process.
The sides agreed to enhance collaboration in key areas, including economic policy, technology, and financial regulation.
The Israeli finance minister will discuss economic and political cooperation with his U.S. counterpart.
