Campus Antisemitism
“All of our students deserve to be safe,” the U.S. attorney general said at CPAC in the Washington area.
Yoav Kisch, the Israeli education minister, stated that the Columbia University interim president agreed on the “importance of taking firm action against antisemitism on campus.”
According to the poll, 91% of respondents are concerned that social media amplifies the opinions of fringe movements, making them seem more widespread than they actually are.
A request has been made about 11 instances of anti-Jewish activities at the New York City campus.
“Students come here for those values, whether they view them as Jewish values or humanistic values,” said Alan Kadish, president of Touro University.
“Not all of us can protest. Not all of us can write a letter to the editor. Not everybody can go stand outside of a university president’s door,” said Mark Bogomolny, board chair of the foundation.
Alicia Verdugo, who stepped down as cultural affairs commissioner within the UCLA student government, has an extensive history of Jew-hatred, per Canary Mission.
“These events took place in 2023, not 1943,” wrote John Cronan, a U.S. District Court judge for the Southern District of New York, in the decision.
“LB 538 takes a firm and necessary stand against discrimination,” said state senator Brian Hardin, who introduced the legislation.
Harvard told JNS that it is “reviewing the request from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.”
Former NFL star DeSean Jackson has, among other things, claimed that Jews aren’t really Jewish and yet they are trying to “extort America” and achieve “world domination.”
“This is exactly the right step to be taking and the right time to be taking it,” stated Kenneth Marcus, of the Brandeis Center. “The cavalry has arrived.”
