Speaking on the Iranian Al-Alam TV on May 30, Zaki further said: "Historically speaking, [the Jews] seem to want to be gathered in order to be annihilated, because nobody accepts them." He also made anti-American remarks in the interview, saying that "the Americans in Iraq should have both their legs broken, because of their crimes" and that "America has no culture and no history, and they think that if they slaughtered the Indians, they can slaughter the Palestinian people."
