Right-wing politicians and organizations held a rally in Jerusalem on Wednesday night to protest the current government and its perceived left-wing policies.

The rally, which took place near the government compound at Cinema City, was publicized under the banner: “Israel is bleeding—we [must] bring back security!”

In addition to a number of other right-wing leaders who spoke, former prime minister and current leader of the opposition Benjamin Netanyahu said: “We will return Israel to a path of success and prosperity, to days of security and power. In the words of the prophet Isaiah: ‘He gives soul to the people, and a spirit to those who walk in it.’ ”

“The soul will win, the spirit will win, we will win!” he said to loud applause.

The message of the rally, attended by thousands, was further buoyed on Wednesday when coalition chairwoman and Yamina Knesset member Idit Silman confirmed her resignation and called for the establishment of a right-wing government.

The rally comes amid a wave of terrorism that left 11 Israelis murdered over the last two weeks.

“Organizations and individuals tied to terrorism have no place operating under the protection of Canadian law,” the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs wrote.
The lawsuit follows a House Ways and Means investigation into alleged Hamas ties with Islamic Relief Worldwide and says U.S. officials warned the charity its tax-exempt status could be at risk.
Matthew Althorpe’s “hatred and violent extremism targeted all those who did not align with his grotesque ideology,” several Jewish advocacy organizations wrote after the ruling.
Sunset Bronson Studios, a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, is home to Netflix production offices and a local news station.
“These acts of violence stand in stark contradiction to the values upon which Israel was founded and to the enduring ethical tradition of the Jewish people,” the Israeli president wrote.
The New York City mayor, who is a harsh and frequent critic of Israel, also wove his plans on affordability and to fight U.S. immigration policy into his telling of the holiday story.
