They fear the recent conflict has been used to amplify anti-Semitic rhetoric and embolden those looking to attack Jews.
Rabbi Josh Weinberg: “Israel does not want to enter Gaza, nor does it want to punish innocent Palestinians. It does, however, have an obligation to protect its citizens and must eradicate the sources of rocket fire from deep within the most densely populated area in the world.”
“The world needs to clearly and unambiguously recognize the nature and aims of Palestinian terrorist organizations, and specifically, their desire to wipe Israel off the map,” said American Jewish Committee CEO David Harris.
The Minneapolis police officer was found guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.

While they “respect the original creation of the IHRA Working Definition as an illustrative tool, and as part of a larger and ongoing conversation about the nature of anti-Semitism,” they expressed “concern with its adoption as a legal tool.”
“His many writings and presentations will always be treasured by the Jewish people and others of all faiths,” said the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.
“There are incidents of vandalism on campus, with mezuzahs being ripped off of students’ doors in residence halls, and swastikas defacing property,” according to a letter of concern.
If confirmed, the candidate would strengthen the conservative bent on the nation’s highest court with a 6-3 majority—two of whom, Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, were appointed under Trump in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
Despite his achievements—and the mention of his Jewish son-in-law, daughter and grandchildren—the U.S. president expressed astonishment that the Jewish vote “seems to be almost automatically a Democratic vote.”
President of the American Zionist Movement Richard Heideman noted that the Abraham Accords bode well “for the future of Israel, Zionism and the Jewish people with all people.”
