The Jewish Electorate Institute poll largely conforms with surveys of the general U.S. public, which have found that most Americans oppose the war against Iran, with sharp partisan divisions between Republicans and Democrats.
“Cardinal Dolan and Reverend Bernard are two of the most righteous people this city has ever known,” Jessica Tisch stated.
“Incidents like this deepen the anxiety and pain felt by our Jewish neighbors,” Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich stated.

The foreign funding comes, in part, from “countries and entities that are involved in activities that threaten America’s national security,” the U.S. education secretary said.
