Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry on Wednesday thanked Israel for condemning a Russian strike that killed 40 people in Komyshuvakha, in southeastern Ukraine, on Monday.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry expressed condolences to the victims’ families and condemned the strike, which hit a school being used as a distribution center for humanitarian aid.

“Your support and principled condemnation of attacks against innocent civilians mean a lot to us,” the Ukrainian ministry wrote on X. “Standing together against terror.”

“It was the Democrats that moved away from Israel, not Israel away from the Democrats,” Dan Diker of the Jerusalem Center for Foreign Affairs, told JNS.
“We are dismantling the Oslo Accords through our actions; we are returning home,” said Binyamin Regional Council head Yisrael Gantz.
“The reports tonight are an earthquake for Israeli democracy,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted to X on Tuesday night.
“The reason we lost is the war,” the U.S. vice president wrote. “If you’d like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next six years was worth it, then do so” but “that’s at least honest.”
