Rashida Tlaib

How can we expect Palestinian children, who are taught that the correct map of the world has no Israel, to ever consider living in peace with the country they are taught should not even exist?
In response to a Twitter post by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) blasting an anti-BDS bill introduced last week by Republicans as “absurd,” Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) posted: “They forgot what country they represent.“ In response, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) tweeted: “This ‘dual loyalty’ canard is a typical anti-Semitic line.”
Buzzfeed reporter Hannah Allam posted on Twitter, “Someone has already made a slight alteration to the map that hangs in Rashida Tlaib’s new congressional office.”
“It’s one-sided. … [They] have these lavish trips to Israel, but they don’t show the side that I know is real,” said Rashida Tlaib, a Democrat who will be representing Michigan’s 13th Congressional District.
Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York have exhibited anti-Israel sentiment and actions that will influence some, be it their constituents or their colleagues in Congress.
Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), the first Palestinian-American elected to Congress, is known to support BDS and other anti-Israel beliefs.
“How can [J Street] continue billing itself as a pro-Israel organization when it is backing a congressional candidate who has pledged to vote against U.S. military aid to Israel when she gets to Congress?” the National Council of Young Israel questioned in a statement.
