The president departed for the United States after securing economic deals in the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
On the third day of his Gulf tour, Trump pointed to progress in nuclear talks with Iran while advancing defense and tech partnerships in the region.
The president’s itinerary includes Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and potentially Turkey.
“It will be one of the most important announcements that have been made in many years about a certain subject. Very important subject,” said the U.S. president.
Jerusalem’s ambassador emphasized aspirations for expanding the Abraham Accords.
A U.S. Energy Department spokesperson said the secretary is “focused on strengthening key relations with energy-producing countries.”
“We discussed the full range of regional issues, as well as furthering bilateral relations between our countries,” Gideon Sa’ar said.
The three men are thought to have carried out the killing at Iran’s orders.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also reaffirmed his support for the two-state solution.
“It fits nicely within the Jewish community,” David Meubauei, who owns a kosher ice cream shop in Brooklyn, told JNS.
