“Without Iran, the Houthis do not possess the capability to attack America, international shipping or Israel,” he said.
“They said please don’t bomb us anymore, and we’re not going to attack your ships,” the U.S. president said. “I will accept their word.”
Dozens of targets were destroyed, according to the IDF, as the Iranian-backed terror group threatens further attacks on Israeli airports.
The Houthis urged international airlines to cancel all flights to the Jewish state.
The IDF has intercepted dozens of missiles launched from Yemen, achieving a success rate of over 95%.
The attack triggered air-raid sirens across central Israel.
Air India called back Sunday’s flight after circling in the air while rocket sirens sounded. Austrian Airlines, Air Europa, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa and Swiss Air also canceled their flights.
“Whoever harms us, we’ll harm them sevenfold,” vows Defense Minister Israel Katz • “It is Iran that is firing ballistic missiles at the State of Israel, and it must bear responsibility,” says National Unity chief Benny Gantz.
The attack triggered sirens in Jerusalem and across southern Israel.
Both attacks triggered air-raid sirens across northern Israel.
