The national security minister reiterated his opposition to an agreement that precludes the destruction of Hamas in Gaza.
The news of the resumption of negotiations came as The New York Times reported that talks appeared to have gained momentum.
“Of course I want to stop the war!” exclaimed MK Mansour Abbas.
“We have further found that the killing of civilians and taking hostages were all central aims of the planned attack.”
“If it were up to you—in the opposition, the TV studios, the former officials—you would have given up a long time ago,” the PM said at the Knesset.
The five young women are seen in Gaza captivity.
Other rescued and released hostages and their families were invited to accompany the premier for his address to Congress.
By singling out the Israeli leadership for war crimes, the ICC may be giving a blank check to rogue actors like Hamas as well as rogue states like Russia, Iran or North Korea.
Some 14,000 fighters have been killed or arrested in over nine months of combat operations in Gaza, according to the Israeli military.
The Pentagon chief confirmed to his Israeli counterpart that the Gaza pier will cease operations.
