Israeli security forces overnight Tuesday demolished the northern Samaria home of a Palestinian involved in a deadly shooting in November 2023, according to the Israeli military. Four Israel Border Police officers were wounded in the attack.
Tamer Rajah’s home in the village of Shuweika was destroyed as part of the “Iron Wall” counter-terrorism operation which began on Jan. 21, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
Rajah was a member of the terrorist cell responsible for the Nov. 2, 2023, shooting attack at Hasharon Junction, commonly known as Beit Lid Junction, west of Netanya, in which Sgt. Maj. (res.) Elhanan Ariel Klein was killed and four Border Police officers wounded.
Klein, 29, was a father of three from Einav. He was murdered as he returned home on a break from IDF reserve duty.
Over the last few days, IDF commando units have killed multiple terrorists and made dozens of arrests in the Jenin area, the IDF spokesperson said on Wednesday.
Israeli forces also located and destroyed explosives and “many kinds” of weapons, as well as a lathe for the production of weapons and two warehouses, the military added.
