Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu “thanked President Biden and President-elect Donald Trump for cooperating in this sacred mission.”

The meeting focused on “regional developments, with an emphasis on the events in Syria.”
The U.S. national security advisor is scheduled to discuss the Lebanon ceasefire, the collapse of Syria’s Assad regime and the status of hostage talks with Hamas.
“We’re prepared to work with the incoming team, in common cause, on a bipartisan basis, to do everything in our collective American power to secure the release of the hostages,” the U.S. national security advisor said.
“The challenge going forward is to turn tactical wins in battle into a strategy that secures Israel’s people and its future,” the U.S. national security advisor said.
“We are now going to look at what the appropriate next steps are to secure, first and foremost, American interests and then to promote stability,” the national security advisor said.
“I am in continuous contact with the other American families and all levels of the U.S. government. There is nothing behind this report,” Jonathan Dekel-Chen said.
The group “discussed mutual coordination on a series of measures to ensure that Iran can never acquire a nuclear weapon,” per the White House.
The high-level meeting has been rescheduled after being canceled after Israel’s premier accused the Biden administration of withholding arms from Jerusalem.
Israeli National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer have been dispatched to Washington, D.C.
“There is absolutely no daylight between Joe Biden and Israel,” said the U.S. national security advisor. “None. Zero.”
