“There is absolutely no daylight between Joe Biden and Israel,” said the U.S. national security advisor. “None. Zero.”
Such a scenario would relieve the Islamist group of responsibility for governance and allow it to rebuilt its military-terrorist power.
“The humanitarian pier facility, including its equipment, personnel and assets were not used in the operation to rescue hostages today in Gaza,” U.S. Central Command said.
“At this decisive moment, we call on the leaders of Israel as well as Hamas to make whatever final compromises are necessary,” said the statement.
The Israeli defense minister spoke after U.S. President Joe Biden launched a proposal offering Hamas an immediate “full and complete ceasefire.”
“The onus is on Hamas and will remain on Hamas until we get a formal response from them.”
“President Biden’s comprehensive proposal sets the stage for a just and lasting peace between Israel and the Palestinian people,” Hakeem Jeffries stated.
“And so he’s prepared to do about anything to get the hostages back,” the U.S. president told “Time.”
“I am not willing to stop the war,” Netanyahu told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
The key members of Netanyahu’s coalition said that they will not be part of a government that ends the war without defeating Hamas.
“At this point, Hamas no longer is capable of carrying out another Oct. 7,” the U.S. president said.
American Jewish voters concerned about Jew-hatred and the Democratic Party’s progressive wing “may be on the move,” said Steven Windmueller of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion.
