David Ben Avraham, formerly Sameh Muhammad Abd al-Rai Zaytoun, was from Hebron.
Sebastia/Shomron is a “hot spot for Palestinian Authority historical revisionism,” said the head of Regavim’s International Division.
According to Palestinian reports, the Israeli drone killed at least three people.
“Do not repeat the mistake that preceded Oct. 7,” Israeli Economy Minister Nir Barkat urged in response.
One of the officers killed the attacker.
Only 8.5% of Palestinians favor the status quo, where the P.A. is controlled exclusively by Mohammad Mustafa’s Fatah faction.
Since Oct. 7, the IDF has detained 3,500 wanted Palestinians in the region.
“This issue concerns us greatly,” a security official said.
“The political agreement is there,” E.U. High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell told reporters.
Aviad Gizbar, who owns a hummus restaurant at a gas station in Eli, shot and killed the attacker, preventing further bloodshed.
“It seems that today all will agree on putting sanctions on both Hamas and the violent settlers who are harassing Palestinians,” Joseph Borrell said.
