The Israeli Foreign Ministry said the incident was “known to and handled by the Israeli Embassy in Manila and the Department for Israelis Abroad.”
“I’m not blaming the Jewish Federations of North America. I assume that it simply didn’t know and had good intentions,” said Israeli Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli.
A new survey, which did not include responses from Gaza and Judea and Samaria, showed marked differences between Arab and Jewish Israelis.
