At the opening of the weekly Cabinet meeting on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lauds Bahrain for following the UAE’s lead in normalizing ties with the Jewish state.
“Basically, if you agree with the sentiment behind the Taylor Force Act, you don’t restore funding to the Palestinians,” said Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.)

The Democratic platform includes language that expresses support for the U.S.-Israel relationship, a pledge to maintain security funding for Israel and backing for a two-state solution.
It creates a joint framework to counter wildlife trafficking, protect ecosystems, and manage parks and cultural sites.
The U.S. purchased two Iron Dome air defense batteries last year as an interim solution for cruise missile defense.
Additionally, the spending package included $47.5 million in U.S.-Israel anti-tunnel technology cooperation, $4 million for new U.S.-Israel collaboration on coronavirus research and $6 million for joint U.S.-Israel cooperative programs in energy and water.
The committee voted 117-34 to reject adding the word “occupation” and a condition of U.S. assistance to Israel on the Jewish state not going ahead with its plans to apply sovereignty to parts of the West Bank, also known as Judea and Samaria.
