The head of the Palestinian Authority also said that Israel doesn’t deserve membership in the world body, as he nods to anti-Israel protesters in America, saying “we are grateful” to them.
“Everything’s very upside down right now,” a protester told JNS, of people supporting terrorists and burning U.S. and Israeli flags in the United States.
Péter Szijjártó told JNS that Israel is “a strategic ally” of Hungary, while the latter has a “pragmatic, practical relationship” with Iran.
“Never again will the Jewish people hide from the monsters whose purpose in life is to murder Jews,” said Israel’s U.N. envoy Danny Danon.
The Argentine president called out the world body for systematically voting against the Jewish state, “the only democracy in the Middle East, which protects liberal democracy.”
The Israeli prime minister will head to New York a day later than originally planned, after holding a series of security consultations in Israel.
“We will stand strong and proud against those lies, against the libel,” Danny Danon told JNS.
In his final address to the U.N. General Assembly, the U.S. president called on world leaders not to “flinch from the horrors of Oct. 7.”
A U.N. spokesman told JNS that the global body “does not consider immunity to be a barrier to investigations or national court investigations in criminal misconduct.”
António Guterres said that there is an “age of impunity everywhere” and said that the global community must “prevent Lebanon from becoming another Gaza.”
Araghchi said the Islamic Republic sent messages to the United States via Switzerland and issued a “general declaration of readiness.”
“We want to live in peace, we don’t want war. It is Israel that seeks to create this all-out conflict,” said Masoud Pezeshkian.
