Fourteen Israelis remained hospitalized on Sunday in South Korea, three days after their tour bus crashed.

The Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem said that 18 other Israelis who were lightly injured in the incident were expected to return to Israel in the next two days.

The body of Margarita Schwartzberg, who was killed when the tour bus overturned in Chungju on Thursday, is also expected to be flown back home within 48 hours.

Israeli representatives in South Korea last week visited the scene of the crash and four hospitals in the area where the victims were being treated.

The bus driver told authorities that a mechanical failure prevented him from changing gears, leading to the accident.
