Iran’s semiofficial Fars news agency described Ali Mohammed Younes as a commander who was involved in anti-espionage missions.
“We should feel that we are in a battle, and we should fight this battle,” said Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in a recent speech.
Kata’ib Hezbollah and Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq are U.S.-designated terrorist groups; both have attacked U.S. and fellow coalition forces in Iraq.
