A spokesman for the private school told a reporter that the school considers the “definition and accompanying illustrative examples to the extent it may be useful in a particular case.”
The measure has drawn opposition from civil-liberties groups, including the state’s ACLU.

“By adopting the IHRA definition, the university administration has absolutely done the right thing by the campus Jewish community,” Miriam Elman, of the Academic Engagement Network, told JNS.
Co-sponsors of the bill told JNS that they expect it to pass and that it’s unfortunate that some colleagues have opposed it.
Felipe Avila, the student senator who sponsored the resolution, said it was a “profound moral failure” for the student government to vote it down.
“We’re not in the business of ruining people’s lives,” Liora Rez, founder and CEO of the organization, told JNS. “Our goal is to remedy a situation first.”
“Antisemitism is a disease that will not end or diminish due to a ceasefire, because the disease has always been there,” said Spanish journalist and former politician Pilar Rahola.
The lawmakers also said that the frontrunner to be New York City mayor is wrong to support boycotting Israel.
“In the last 18 months, the world has witnessed a disturbing surge in antisemitic rhetoric, violence and harassment,” wrote the JCRC of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation.
The candidate will “approach antisemitism in line with the Biden administration’s National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism,” said a spokesperson for his campaign.
“Accusing Jews of killing women and children is one of the oldest antisemitic accusations in history,” according to a statement by the CONIB umbrella group of Jewish communities.
